DMY Berlin: International Design Festival Berlin 2021
What was once an exhibition to showcase young and experimental designers, has now turned into a full-on festival. DMY Berlin is a collective of artists and designers who like to break out of the ordinary and this year they are turning their annual design exhibition into an international festival.

This year’s festival will push the boundaries of art and design with its theme “The Sky is Not the Limit.” DMY 2008 will be the sixth of the Berlin organization’s annual design displays. 7000 square meters of exhibition space will be used to feature the DMY Youngsters. Called a combination between design lab and playground, the Arena Berlin hall turns into a space for new designers, from products to interior design, to feature their work and interact with professionals in the industry as well as design enthusiasts.
With an emphasis on international focus, The Sky is Not the Limit will feature a show titled “Turkish Delight” to be held at the Pergamon Museum, a school trip by London’s Royal College of Art, a presentation of the winners of the Swiss Design Award and a prestigious exhibition of design works from Israel and Slovakia.
Throughout the city, DMY will hold various workshops and seminars focused on design. Add to that DMY Klubabor — an exceptional selection of DJs and VJs to heighten the visual and aural experiences — and the event definitely seems to be one to look forward to.
Mark your calendars now; DMY 2008 will be held May 21-25 2008.
